To All My Fellow Mushers,
I am Martin Buser, a professional dog musher from Alaska. I have a kennel of
about 90 dogs. I compete in the mid- and long distance race circuit. My final
goal for each season is to compete in the worlds longest sled dog race, the
Iditarod. With the help of “Eagle”, I was able to win “the Last Great Race” in
92, 94 and again in 1997.
You know, the two weeks that I feed dogs on the Iditarod are very important to
me. However the fifty weeks getting ready for the event are even more crucial,
especially when it comes to balanced nutrition! I only race dogs that have
been raised on “Eagle” and the results speak for themselves. Besides my three
Iditarod championships, my dogs have won numerous other races and currently
hold the speed record for the fastest 300 miles ever raced.
One of my sayings is that “the dogs are only as good as their fuel is”. Our
fuel certainly is made by the great team at Eagle Super Premium Pet Food. Only
the best food fuels Champions, Eagle powers me to the lead of the pack.
I am not a nutritionist, I am a musher. I let the professionals at Eagle
formulate the food, so I can concentrate on training and getting ready for the
races. Often I feed the team right out of the bag and I get more miles per bag
with Eagle than any other brand.
If it weren’t for “Eagle”, the Iditarod would be a much longer race for me and
my dogs.
I recommend “Eagle” to all mushers, this food has proven its worth many times
during the long days and nights on the trail.

We have a gal at our shop that is using
the Eagle Pack Holistic Select on her RR. He has had tremendous problems
keeping weight on. Unfortunately Jake just recently had surgery, but he hadn't
been on the Eagle long enough to make a difference. His weight is not a
challenge anymore, she even has stopped cooking for him and for the first time
in his life has a wonderful coat. The vet ... asked her if she had switched
diets as his weight and coat had never looked so good, this was only after
approx. 30 days.
What we have seen on our kids since we've switched is the visual reversal of
greying on the masks of our dogs, it's amazing! I'm sure this is not a claim
made by Eagle, but I for one will continue with it!

Hello, Ms Arndt :
I had written some months ago, when I switched my blue dane to Eagle, and you
had followed up with some recommendations of supplements, etc. Just wanted you
to know how thrilled I am with
the results of the Eagle with my boy "Thor". He was a rescue/return to the
late Linda Scatturro @ Country Run, when I adopted him in Oct 96 . I had been
using Nutro Lamb and Rice, and he did not
do well at all. He did not eat well, and never kept weight on. I tried Calif.
Natural for a few months last summer, and he did better, but not great. But
since switching to the Eagle in September, he looks, and moves, like a much
younger dog, and is in absolute top condition. I only supplement with the
natural greens and Ester C, and plain active culture yogurt (1-2 tablespoons
per meal). 1/2 can of food added, primarily for flavor
enhancement. The Eagle has improved his muscle tone, and his coat shines like
he was dipped in lacquer. Well, almost all the time he was out rolling in
frozen deer poop tonight... LOL. Skin turgur good, and no dryness . The best
part is... he likes the food! He actually eats well, without me practically
standing on my head to try to get him to eat, like before. You might like to
know my vet, not having seen him since just before starting on Eagle, was
stunned at his overall condition, and wanted to know exactly what I was doing,
so he could recommend it to other giant breeds he has in his practice.
Certainly, credit was heaped on your name, and info available on your website.
He says to relay to you that rarely has he seen a dog in such clearly superior
condition as my soon - to - be 7 year old blue boy. Thor is very much the
athlete, and the image of strength and power right now, even at his middle
age. My 19 month
old collie has also done well on the Eagle; too well, in fact . He's packing
about 5 winter pounds too many. Well, I just wanted to drop you a quick line
to let you know how well my boys have done on the Eagle, and I am convinced
the food will help me add years to the time I have my much loved Dane and his
collie "brother".

First of all, allow me to congratulate you and your company on producing what
I believe is the best pet food on the market.
Having shared my home with a variety of dogs, mostly hunting breeds, for over
thirty years, I've tried just about every brand and type of pet food
available. I must confess that in recent years, I've failed to adequately
research and study the pet food market and the latest strides in product
development.
I had the good fortune to meet Elaine Cargile recently. Elaine gave me a very
thorough update on the pet food scene, and explained to me in a courteous and
professional manner exactly what me and my Labrador Retriever have been
missing. When I told her the brand of pet food I was feeding Deke, my
Retriever, the look on her face was worth a thousand words! I thought to
myself, whoa!...maybe I'd better do some homework. I did, and subsequently
started my dog on Eagle Pack nutrition.
The difference your nutritional formulas has made in a remarkably short period
of time, is truly amazing! My dog's overall demeanor is obviously much
improved. The condition and appearance of his coat literally gleams with
health. His energy level is almost frightening, compared to before I put him
on Eagle Pack. Thanks to Elaine, this coming hunting season has taken on an
entirely new perspective. Alas, I feel pretty guilty for wallowing so long in
ignorance, and hope that my dog will never figure out that it's my fault!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Well, it's been 8 days since I have been
giving my boy the double dose of enzymes, the yogurt and vitamin C. He has
been on the Eagle Pack Natural since Friday and he is doing really well and
seems to like it. I just wanted to tell you that had it not been for my having
picked up your address from all the addresses that come up when 'Great Dane'
is put into the box. I think that I would have lost my dog. He had gotten so
bad that he could hardly stand and his coat which should be black and white
had turned to a dull grayish brown. Every time you touched him, you would get
a handful of hair. He had not used on back leg for so long that it had become
atrophied to about 1/4 the size of the other leg. Well, now let me tell you,
he has come back, and is happily on his way to being the healthy dog that
always pestered me to throw him a ball or wanting out to play with the Lab.
His coat has started to come back to a nice black shiny color and he no longer
sheds when you pet him. He now uses his hind leg and it is getting the muscle
tone back. I have no doubt that had I not gotten a hold of you and followed
your instructions that he would either be gone or one really sick puppy that
my vet would not have known what to do with. I probably would have had to take
him to the Ohio State Vet Clinic, and maybe they would not have known either.
I do not blame my vet as my Danes are probably the only large dogs that they
see, and like I said before, my old dog never has been sick. They saw my vet
only for preventive care. I plan on taking my vet your feeding instructions
and hope that hey will read them. Hopefully if they do, this will not happen
to someone else. Again, thank you so much for helping me the way you did."

“My 14 year old mixed breed was looking as if
he was on death’s doorstep. Linda Arndt told me I needed to change his diet
from a grocery store brand senior food to Eagle Senior. I was told it would
take about 6 weeks to see a difference in my animal. But only after one week
of using the Eagle Senior, there was a big difference in our dog. I could not
believe my eyes! What I had assumed was normal for a 14-year-old dog (skinny,
dull coat, lethargic and arthritis) was really a problem of poor nutrition and
not old age. In only one weeks time, he was up and moving like a younger dog,
he put on 4 lbs. which before he was showing all his ribs and spine. His coat
is starting to get shiny and he no longer acts like an old arthritic dog. It
is remarkable and we are very pleased to know his senior years will have a
quality that he did not have before. I am telling all my family and friends

Dear Eagle Pet Products:
Three years ago, after being appointed as the K-9 supervisor for the St.
Joseph County Police Department K-9 Division. I was faced with a problem that
I felt needed to be addressed. Our K-9 units were being maintained on a low
quality name brand pet food. My problem was that our dogs lacked the energy
and stamina, which is needed to maintain a high level of effectiveness for
long periods of time. This problem adversely affected our K-9 units’ job
performance.
We tried many different types of Premium name brand foods and our dogs did not
seem to improve. We then consulted our veterinarian, Dr. W. Meyer, who has an
extensive nutrition background. Dr. Meyer assisted us in conducting a
nutritional analysis of numerous dog foods. Through this analysis we
determined that Eagle Pet Food would most likely be the most suitable feed for
our working dog teams and give us the results that we were looking for.
Immediately after switching to Eagle Pet Food we began to see favorable
results. Our dogs’ energy and stamina levels increased and the coats began to
shine. We also no longer had the dermatitis problems that we once had. Also,
no longer were there large weight fluctuations, and the transition from one
Eagle food to another did not cause any digestive problems or loose stools, as
other dog foods do.
I have been so impressed with the success that we have enjoyed with Eagle,
that I have suggested its use to other working dog handler. Members of the
Northern Indiana Search and Rescue, the National Police Bloodhound Association
and members of other Police departments, who have tried and switched to Eagle
Pet Foods, have equally been impressed with the success they have achieved
with this food.
I would suggest with confidence to other K-9 handlers and pet owners, who care
about the performance and coat condition of their animals, to feed Eagle Super
Premium Pet Food. I will assure them that they will be as pleased as I was,
with the notable change in their animals.

Dear Eagle Pack:
Thank you for the information on what was causing my cat’s diarrhea for the
past four years. Your new Hairball Formula cat food is a miracle to me. I have
tried about 25 different brands (including several from veterinarians) that
didn’t work. I have taken my cat to about 7 different veterinarians and they
all would tell me my cat must be sensitive to proteins. I tried every type of
meat that I could buy in cat food including duck, veal, and venison, but
nothing worked. I had no idea that poor quality fiber was the cause. I thought
that maybe it was that there was not enough grain fiber. I wish that Eagle
Pack could mark something on their package indicating that it is good for cats
with digestive problems. I have found over the years with talking to people
and breeders that diarrhea in cats (especially in Persians) is very common. It
is a shame that veterinarians don’t know anything about the importance of
fiber. Thanks again for your help.

Just a note to tell you how thrilled I am to
let you know that Eagle is now available Downunder. We had our annual pet and
trade show exhibition in the capital this weekend just past and I had several
of your articles to hand out to the public. Well, the articles, of course,
mentioned Eagle so it was a short trip from our Dane stand to the Eagle stand
and we were beating the path!
Anyway, just though I would let you know how excited I am by this new
development, and the fact that there are now about 1000 Dane or prospective
Dane owners who have your feed articles!

I thought you'd enjoy hearing of my most recent
successes at the four-day Salt City Cluster in Syracuse, NY. I WON BIG!!! And
I truly think the Eagle Pack, in addition to my careful breeding program,
contributed to my wins. The dogs are in glorious condition. Everyone was
