Pet Allergies

25% of the population are allergic to pets. People are allergic to pet dander and saliva, not pet hair. Dander is small particles of dead skin on a pet's coat or in the environment.

Suggestions:

• Brush your pet daily
• Don't allow pets on furniture
• Bathe weekly
• Vacuum Frequently
• Wash your hands after handling a pet, its toys, bed, etc.
• Give your pet foods that have fatty acids, like Eagle Pack.
• If you have allergies and are considering a pet, a dog may better choice than a cat. Consider breeds with less dander, like, Poodles, Schnauzers, Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apsos, and Terriers
